VuyK is a band from Stavanger who started up late 2014. Music genre is melodic rock with a touch of pop. Jan Henrik is the lead singer, his life has been quite bumpy. In fact, lyrics and music is inspired from all the ups and downs in his life. Loosing his parents and the loss of his son, was the key factor for starting writing music. I needed someone to talk to, but i was afraid and felt unsuccessful. Now i can talk through the music to everyone who wants to listen. Writing has also helped me continue life and see the joy life gives. After all, i feel very lucky despite the lack of success in music internationally , the people closest to me loves me and say i am a their star, that is success.
