W3S

W3S is a 15 year old Hip-Hop Artist from Long Island, New York. His father is a songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, introducing W3S to Rock music at a very young age. His father listened to the likes of Green Day, The Beatles, and Nirvana, some of W3S’ biggest influences to date. W3S started writing and performing songs for his family when he was as little as 5 years old, foreshadowing his future passion. As time went on, he began listening to different genres. At around the age of 10, he began listening to Eminem, who inspired him, by telling a story through his creative lyricism and original sound. Hip-Hop artists’ struggles and battles throughout life were something W3S was able to relate to, and the music truly resonated with him. In 2018, W3S started to once again write music as a creative outlet to express his struggles with anxiety and depression. He had decided to begin recording and posting his songs to the site popular among young artists, “SoundCloud”, and was shocked by the results. Releasing singles such as “Not One For Love” and "Won't Ride" he was able to retain an audience who enjoyed his music. W3S hopes to continue to make music for his listeners, and one day become very successful in his craft.
