Wade Skinner is a Texas born and raised singer/songwriter with a passion for recovering the roots of traditional country music. His first full album "Through the Fire" was written in the style and tradition of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings with a nod to modern artists such as Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, and Sturgill Simpson. Two singles from that first album spent multiple weeks on the Texas Regional Radio Report top 100 in 2021: “Red Summer” and “Uncle Sledge.” “Uncle Sledge” spent several weeks in the top 50 on that same chart in 2021 and peaked at #42. His second full album "Flood" is set to release in the spring of 2023. “When I Can’t See You” is the first single release from that album. It released to all platforms and Texas radio in the beginning of January 2022. Wade is a former Marine, a father, and a touring Musician. His love for God, family, country, and the great state of Texas inform his music and his values. Wade writes country music for people who don’t like “country music.” Dates for upcoming and past shows can be found at www.wadeskinner.com. @George Jones @Sturgill Simpson @Waylon Jennings @Cody Jinks @TylerChilders @MerleHaggard
