Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Skylar Hoffman wrote his first rap titled, "A Figurative Flaming" in which he rapped using English literary devices for a class project. In college, he would meet his producer/collaborator, Johnymac and the duo would release countless tracks. Hoffman adopted the moniker, Wa$hington because his hair started turning white; alike that of the 1st President of the United States and because he aspires to be the first major artist from Delaware. After releasing his first EP “Imposter” in July of 2021 and a follow up “15 Minutes of Fame” in 2022, there seems to be no stopping his momentum.
