Sean Walker debuts his new emotional dance music project, WALKER. In the wake of sibling heartbreak the producer-songwriter shares his transportive track ‘Tommy’.

‘Tommy’ is an emotionally pent-up first release for WALKER, written and produced with a reverence for a classic house groove atop Irish spoken word poetry. The track serves as a raw, anthemic musical escape dedicated to his twin sibling, through a painful recount of their near-death experience in a motorcycle accident.

In the first phase of his career, Sean was founding, producing, and touring his Australian band MOVEMENT (signed with Modular), and over the course of 5 years his journey took him from a bedroom studio to clocking up 100 million music streams, 5 world tours, writing with artists like BANKS, touring with Solange, DARKSIDE, SBTRKT and performances at international music festivals such as Primavera (Barcelona) and Pitchfork Paris.

After the conclusion of this project, he founded the band breathe.

Their debut EP (2021) has more than 60m streams on Spotify, Apple, and Youtube, radio rotation on KCRW (US), BBC Radio 6 (UK), JJJ, FBi, KEXP (Seattle), film placements on programs including “You” (Netflix), “Elite” (Netflix) and “The Kept Woman” (Russia) and their debut show at the Sydney Opera House.
