Walking Bombs

Walking Bombs is the multi-genre, evolving and collaborative project of 30+ year musician and music journalist Morgan Y. Evans (they/them). A key figure in the Upstate, NY Woodstock area grunge, nu metal, punk and prog metal scene that also birthed artists such as 3, Coheed and Cambria (Cambria being Morgan's real life sister), Dripping Goss, Jerk Magnet and more, Evans started Walking Bombs as a solo/revolving door type vehicle inspired by the immediacy and collaborative spirit of Pigface, The Ocean Collective or the Muddy Waters Woodstock Album. In addition to playing many instruments and singing for the project, Evans has interviewed hundreds of bands for numerous publications since the late nineties to present.

With many albums under their belt ranging from industrial to leftist political folk to noise to catchy alt metal, Walking Bombs is always breaking new ground. Past collabs have included songs featuring team ups with alumni of many bands including Shining, Vowws, Globelamp, Spirit Adrift, Gridfailure, Filth Is Eternal, The Felice Brothers and many more.

Now located in Southern California, 2025 sees Walking Bombs releasing something every month of the year!
