Walter Vooys

A versatile and passionate DJ and producer, talented Walter Vooys spent almost half his life showing his tricks behind the decks. One of those guys who knows what deejaying is all about and developing his style over the years, making sure no dancefloor is ever a challenge for his crowd-reading abilities and flawless mixing skills.

Energetic and focussed, Walter Vooys' DJ sets represent the broad spectrum of true house music, spinning a blend of Latin House, Tech-House, Classics and Oldschool, filled with pumping beats and the occasional mash-ups. Developing his DJ skills from an early age, Walter Vooys eventually landed a few residencies in Amsterdam after playing in various venues all over Europe, stretching from France to Spain and the Netherlands.

Besides providing his audience with uplifting mixes, his skills don't stop there as producing his own music and remixes is something that cannot be overlooked. As a producer the year 2018 brought the most growth which is represented in his release portfolio on labels from the likes of Vamos Music, Tumbatta Recordings, Check in Recordings, Peppermint Records and Twisted Shuffle. The latter being the label that released his debut album 'Soul of House' in 2015.

Inspired by the sound of #TrueHousemusic, Walter Vooys finds himself producing Soulful, Groovy and stomping House music for the clubs on a continues basis.
