Waqqas is a Desi recording artist and songwriter from Pomona, CA, blending Punjabi, Reggaeton, and Rap into a sound he calls PUNJABBAETON™. Born to Pakistani parents and raised around Latino and Black communities, he developed a deep love for music in all languages — from 50 Cent to Attaullah Khan to Wisin & Yandel.
He started making music after building his own home studio, learning everything from recording to mixing by trial, error, and YouTube. His breakout single “Nixon” earned over 300k plays, followed by his debut tape The Calm and viral track “TYR,” which took off on TikTok with choreography by The Williams Bros.
Now, Waqqas is building on his Hip Hop roots and crafting music that reflects his full identity — trilingual, genre-bending, and completely his own.
