War-Head

War-Head is a Death/Thrash metal band formed in 2002 in Osijek, Croatia. In 2008 band recorded its debut No Signs of Armageddon, mastered by Colin Davis (Imperial Mastering, USA). After this self-release, the band did tours with Devastation in 2008 and Warbringer in 2010. In 2011 the band released its official debut ...Still No Signs of Armageddon via Denim and Leather Records, UK, featuring artwork by Joe Petagno (Led Zeppelin, Motörhead). In 2011 band did an EU tour with Darkness (GER). The next year, the band did 3 EU tours and participated in Wacken Metal Battle, Sarajevo Metal Fest, Metal Fest Croatia, Metal Mania and Beograd Heavy Metal Fest. 2013 sees a successful Brazilian Tour with Tankard and two EU tours. In 2014 War-Head went to Brazil again sharing the stage with bands like Headhunter DC, NervoChaos and Vulcano. The band released their second album Imperium Mundi for Miner Records in 2014. The release was followed by two EU tours one with Nifelheim and Volcano. In 2015 War-Head played several fests like Metaldays (SLO) and Exit (SRB). In 2016 the band did a tour with Nervosa (BRA). Their latest album Monuments of Fallacy was released in 2019 via Inferno Records (FRA). After the pandemic, the band regrouped with Ivica Simunovic on guitar to promote the album. Following several successful gigs, the band recruited a new bass player Krunoslav Peric so Dario could focus on vocals. In May 2024, the band released the single Shallow Waters and will focus on a new album.
