Duluth, Minnesota by way of Portland, Oregon, War Pony Dos is the musical melding of husband and wife Lane and Erin Dwyer Trisko. Formed in the beginnings of a new life in Portland, the two songwriters began writing, recording and performing in the city they'd call home for five years. During this time, Lane was also the drummer for Portland power-poppers The Hollywood Tans. Eventually, the duo found their way to the north woods of Minnesota, the songs and self-recordings of their time in Portland and journeys abroad included in their first proper release on Woodster Records, 'Tales From Inside the Snow Globe.'
War Pony Dos released their second LP via Woodster in November 2018. The album, 'Life is Hard But Good But Hard' details the raw ups and downs of adult life dealing with themes like mental illness, death of loved ones, falling in love, defining "home", to name a few.
One year later War Pony Dos released a christmas LP, Gather Round the Christmas Pony, featuring 9 original holiday tunes.
