Warp Music Community

Warp Music Community is the vehicle of <a href="spotify:artist:45tsjmmQThitUm4vCE0XNr" data-name="François Borne">François Borne</a>, multi-instrumentalist and composer from Lille, France . Initially a member of the electro pop duet <a href="spotify:artist:1bGGPgWRf4KwYx6gaarUbm" data-name="Flesh Opera">Flesh Opera</a> in 1989.
In 1991 he begins to write his own personal compositions which he sings and accompanies on the guitar. He performs solo or in a trio, accompanied by a rhythm section. His voice is reminiscent of a Bowie who would have met Frank Tovey from Fad Gadget..., his music and a mixture of influence from the 70s, Pop and Folk, and 80s, Synth Pop and New Wave enhanced with his personal touch.


Warp Music Community is releasing &#34; <a href="spotify:album:3hLM8tZNOK2syljmeUiKEg" data-name="Warp Music">Warp Music</a> &#34;, a first vinyl and digital album, in november 2022. Album in which he begins to surround himself with collaborators on certain tracks. The idea in the future is to continue experimenting by incorporating additional instruments and occasionally other musicians from other musical genres such as electro pop, folk, new wave, classical and many other genres into his compositions.
Warp Music Community draws its influences from the music of the new wave and synth pop movements of the 80s and 90s which it revisits at its convenience with current and old sounds.
This is a bilingual project, english and french.
