Washington is Next

This band was set from the beginning.

Wyatt Carey and Maurice Ramirez have been friends since highschool, and have always thought about starting a band. Maurice knew Wyatt's screams had blood in it, and Wyatt saw Maurice's thrash electricity in everything he played, but there was a problem. Wyatt likes metalcore, Maurice likes thrash.

Wyatt met Aiden on an app called Vampr. (which is a Tindr-like to meet musicians for your band) Aiden originally joined as a possible drummer, but wasn't very confident. Aiden switched to bass, although he was a guitarist previously.

Wyatt met Devin in college. Devin's guitar skills has always been sky high, and that's why they knew he would be their second guitarist. Devin joined our group chat, and knew we needed a drummer since the (now) bassist wasn't confident enough. That's when they met a thunderous and exploding drummer.

JoJo Hatfield has played in multiple bands before, but nothing as heavy as WiN. That doesn't mean he isn't amazing. When Devin met Jo at MRC (Music Resource Center), That's when they knew they struck gold

With these five men, they made a compromise. That compromise would be the thrash-metalcore sensation: Washington is Next

On February 20th, they released their first single: 'Man of War'.
