WASKA

The development of trippy bass and wonky sound design has brought us WASKA. The founder of WASKA, Jacob Cravens, is a 28 year old experimental bass producer from Houston, TX. He’s curated an organic, unique, sound taking you to the far reaches of space with rhythmic frequencies from parallel dimensions. His music tells a story through bass and time itself. Inspired by the works of artists such as Ganja White Night, Subtronics, Liquid Stranger, and Hedron, WASKA combines cinematic heavy bass with deep experimental dub that merges art and ethnic sounds from all over the world.

Jacob spends most his time fusing frequencies and working on complex, compelling, material meant to inspire beautiful minds. Working with the groundbreaking bass community TENHUT COLLECTIVE, they have brought something truly special and innovative to the dance floor, constantly serving hot, fresh, bass tunes. If WASKA’s not in the studio, he’s probably chillin with his family around a fire (or maybe learning about space).
