Watch it Burn began in the Sierra Mountains of Truckee,CA. in 1996. Formed in the garage of a snowboard party house, the founding members brought influences ranging from: Jawbreaker,crimpshrine, fifteen and face to face, to others, much different, like: Neorosis, kyuss, cro mags, suicidal tendencies and verbal assault, helping give the band a very open, free and unique writing style.
WiB spent 9 years as a Cali located band. Playing 100’s of shows from SD to the Seattle, East and anywhere in between. They did 10 days on the 1999 Warp Tour on the Volcom side stage and had releases on Rise,LKR & A.D.D and accident Prone.

Watch it Burn was genuine, built from a large core group of friends much bigger then the 4 band members, it was simply, their lives together in those days for close to a decade, lives shared with great friends and the stories are told through the music, written down and spilling out in each song for you to hear, from the 1st song on record to the last.
