Wave and Wire

With an engaging blend of intense alt rock and smooth indy melodies, Wave and Wire is bringing ‘90s-2000s rock influence back to the Canadian rock scene. Praised for “breaking the boundaries and pushing the limits of modern rock” (Sinusoidal Music), Wave and Wire is known for making each song unique a bringing their listeners “on a roller coaster ride, with groovy pop-rock beats on one song and poignant lyrics on another,” (Elnews).
Each song that Wave and Wire releases brings a unique perspective and another vision of what this band can be. From relentlessly energetic rock anthems to melodic soundscapes, each song is driven by politically-charged lyrics and textured instrumental layers.
Wave and Wire was formed in Montreal, Canada in 2017, when Hawaiian-born songwriter Lieshbet started working with a group of local musicians, (Bruno Brechet and Samuel Paquette Daviau still remaining as founding members) and writing original songs together.
With producer Matt Grou, Wave and Wire has released 2 EPs, "If You Knew Me" (2020) and "All These Empty Nations" (2022).
Wave and Wire has started 2023 strong with the release of “Colorless”, and they plan to keep pushing forward and bringing their music to new fans both in Canada and beyond. Wave and Wire consists of: Lieshbet (vocals/guitar), Bruno Brechet (Drums), Samuel Paquette Daviau (Bass), Kris Edvi (Guitar) and Francis Boucher (Synth).
