WAVES OF DECAY started in 2016 in Westmalle (Antwerp - BE).
All members are veterans in the local scene with loads of experience in different musical genres.

The band has shared the stage with a few well known and upcoming metalbands and continues to spread their unique sound
on stages across the country.

In 2017 the EP 'Cycloptic' was released.
The 5 songs on the disc received rave reviews from among others Aardschok, Lords Of Metal, Hell Spawn, The Belgian Metal Shredder, ...
In October 2018 - in collaboration with director Lino De Koninck - the video clip 'The Hurricane' was released.

In January 2021 the band released their second EP 'Burn your angel wings'. The 7 songs are good for over 35 minutes of diverse music. This time the vocals, production and songwriting are more focused, while the musical influences, ranging from Iced Earth over Samael to Paradise Lost and Exodus, are broader than ever.
