Wavyboy X

Abasifreke Ema Ikpidungise, popularly known as WavyBoy X is a rapper and Afrobeats singer/songwriter. He’s been into African sounds, exploring High Life and Ibibio/Annang Traditional music inspired from the likes of Chief Uko Akpan and Chief Emmanuel Ntia (Ette Ntia) as a drummer. He recorded his first studio vocals which he explored the rap genre, switching to an Afrobeat/Amapiano when his friends formed the TINAL Music Collective.
He’s known for his invigorating and subdue lyrics, rhythmic vocals and his unique sound to being versatile on any genre.
