Likely, not what you’d expect from a Buffalo, NY music artist — way2wavybaby (wavy) is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus in music and textile arts. She has sharpened her craft while studying at the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art School (BICA), and doubling down as BICA's Gallery Assistant, Generator Fund Project Coordinator, and Cornelia Production Assistant.
way2wavybaby has fused her artistic practices by living at the intersection of music and contemporary art. Her art has been featured in exhibitions across various state recognized/funded galleries. Musically, she is showcasing her interdisciplinary prowess through sounds of Pop, Grunge, Punk and Alt Rock with an artistic through line that is visually compelling and sonically captivating.
Her current project, Baby’s First, is an amalgamation of the many hats she wears including music, visual art, textile art, photography, event planning, creative direction, video editing, and much more.
