Wayne Cumming

Johannesburg born pop crooner Wayne Cumming started off his music career in the theatre, performing in stage shows across the country and abroad. Having studied dramatic arts and film, he became a triple threat performer in singing, dancing and acting. He then started developing the taste for the commercial music scene when he performed a number of shows as a backing vocalist for the SA music great, Garth Taylor.

Over the last 17 years, Wayne has performed hundreds of live music extravanganza shows, tributes and corporate showcases in venues such as Sun City, Caesars Palace, Baryard Theatre and Carnival City. Of late, he starting aiming his focus to the studio, and has since released numerous cover versions of English and Afrikaans songs garnering over 100,000 streams in a very short space of time.

Now it’s time for his debut original release titled ‘Until I Forget You’, an explosive ‘80s-esque pop song penned and produced by multi-platinum selling songwriter/producer Daniel Baron. "This song is a page from my book, from all of our books. I have lost count of the amount of times I have said these words and felt these emotions. This song has been a healing moment in my life." Says Wayne.
