Josue Montero, professionally known as $wayzee, is an emerging 18-year-old hip-hop artist hailing from Texas. He is acclaimed for his compelling delivery and poignant lyrical content, bringing a unique flair to the genre. In 2024, $wayzee released his debut album, Here Come Trouble, on August 22nd, coinciding with the launch of the single Dirty $hit on September 21st, 2024, and another single titled What We On, distributed via United Masters. Notably, the album features tracks such as New Flava For Ya Ear, Back To Da Era, and Trynna Live Right, all recorded in a professional studio. Additionally, $wayzee showcases his versatility as a producer, having independently crafted the remaining compositions in his personal studio.

Originating from Pampa, Texas, $wayzee faced a challenging upbringing, exposed to elements of related violence, substance abuse, and domestic turmoil. Under the guidance of his uncle, who is also a hip-hop artist, $wayzee initially engaged in illicit activities, leading to encounters with the juvenile justice system. His deep passion for music emerged during his formative years, catalyzed by a tragic event when his cousin, a talented wordsmith, fell victim to suicide.

Determined to channel his life experiences into artistic expression, $wayzee relocated to Wichita Falls, To pursue his passion.
