In a simultaneously heavy, somber and ethereal manner, wazzara weave elements of doom, post metal and blackgaze into dreamy and atmospheric soundscapes.
wazzara emerged 2015 from a themed solo project of Swiss singer and composer Barbara Brawand and over time evolved to a full band with additional band members George Necola (bass), Mäsi Stettler (guitar) and Tom Kuzmic (guitar).
Always both dreamy and fierce like unrestrained, roaring streams of water, the band can today be witnessed live near and far. In addition, and since the beginning of wazzara’s history, Barbara appears with her ethereal acoustic songs as a solo performance act to this day.
