We Are Information

We Are Information is a fusion of electronic, downtempo and post-rock. Formed in 2016 in Belfast, the band's unique sound comprises a melodic mixture of analogue synthesis, guitar, vocals and organic textures of field recordings.

Drawing influences from pioneering artists such as Lymbyc Systym, Boards of Canada, Tycho and Tourist, We Are Information creates sonic landscapes that evoke a range of often conflicting emotions - from nostalgia and alienation to euphoria. This delicate balance is the band's signature style, setting them apart in the music landscape.

2023 marked the release of the band's debut album. This work showcases the nuanced, atmospheric sound that the band has cultivated since its inception.
