We Are Warm is a dramatically melodic indie/space/folk rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. Their sound ranges from atmospheric stadium rock to eclectic head trips to soft and sweet while filling the air with “warm” and lush soundscapes. Messages within the lyrics have passionate recurring themes of optimism and hope from the perspective of a transcendentalist’s inability to ignore the realist.
They have supported acts like Sting, Modest Mouse, Bon Iver, My Morning Jacket, Manchester Orchestra, Lucius, In The Valley Below, Here We Go Magic, Star Death and White Dwarfs, Everest, The Cave Singers and more. They have also been a “spotlight artist” on St. Louis’ 88.1 KDHX, played on the 105.7 The Point’s Local Show and featured on Delta Airlines’ in flight radio.
Their debut EP titled “Chinatown” was produced by Scott Hackwith (the Ramones, Iggy Pop, Spiritualized, Beachwood Sparks) and mixed by 4 time Grammy award winning engineer Robert Carranza (Jack Johnson, Beck, The Mars Volta, Pete Yorn).
