We Carry Thy Banner was an indie / alternative rock band from Livermore, CA. The band was formed by Nick Green and Chris Hopkins in 2005, releasing their first single "CN Tower (Battle Hymn)" in September of that year. In 2006, they released a ten-track self-titled LP.
Other musicians joined for live shows, including Aaron Ferguson of <a href="spotify:artist:7HoX6gyaMmcxd8Q5CoCPaE" data-name="Altamont Union">Altamont Union</a>, Andy DeSantis, and Jesse Schlicker. Nick and Chris later went on to form the lofi punk band Cool Band Now,, as well as play live electro synth music in <a href="spotify:artist:1Tasjj1YABX5CHhp32zFUp" data-name="Bro Montana">Bro Montana</a>.
