WE HUNGRY is a Hardcore Punk band from Paris (Fr) formed in 2021 with members of Kidz Get Down, Subself, and les Rats.
Influenced by West Coast US punk, and old school 80s/90s Hardcore, the band conveyes the original values of the Hardcore movement, that is PMA (Positive Mental Attitude).
With lyrics relating to the fact of being in a perpetual search in life, willing to blossom through acceptance of who you are (and who you are not !), of your own imperfection, or the refusal of a world "ready to consume", the band plays a fast punk rock, with a juvenile recklessness and a simple philosophy : the world is a mirror, it reflects what you send to it.
WE HUNGRY, it's a wish to see the glass half-full in a world that is everyday slipping into mercantilism, war, injustice and chaos a little more. The will to make an effort, refuse mediocrity, improve everyday, shine, for yourself, for the others, without being ingenuous.
Hungry for life, thirsty for making sense, a desire to create value, but not the kind of "value" nowadays society wants to impose.
