Wegener and Furner met by chance during a trip in Sweden. During this time, in addition to a friendship, the music project Wegener.Furner was born. Benedikt "Ben" Wegener (* December 18, 1989 in Berlin) Producer and songwriter for Wegener.Furner. The multi-instrumentalist founded three successful school bands. After graduating from high school with honors, he decided to train as a hairdresser because he didn't want to become a lawyer like his father. On the side, he founded an indie music project with a musician friend. Shortly before the deal with a major label, Wegener's partner dropped out and the deal fell through. Wegener quit his job and took a year off. During his trip around the world he met Max Furner. Maximilian "Max" Furner (* May 14, 1987 in London) Songwriter and producer for Wegener.Furner. Studied business administration in Amsterdam and Frankfurt. Worked for an agency for several years before going freelance as a photographer. Earns his living mainly from travel photography for magazines and as a skipper. As a guitarist and electronic music musician, he worked for several bands. When he is not traveling, he alternates between London and Frankfurt.
