Branched from Cut Throat Cartel, Welcome 2 Tho’wd Town (W2TT) is a group created by Big ShoDaz & V Dot Nam (formerly known as Young Nam). In the beginning of their promotional campaign, these boyz pushed over 2K units of their first mixtape in the first two weeks on the streets of Central Texas (Killeen, Fort Hood, Temple, Waco, etc.).
With over 19 projects in their catalog, W2TT paved a way for active duties soldiers to still do music and serve their country. While ShoDaz went back to the D, Nam stayed in Fort Hood forming W2TT La Familia and Click Thowd. After Nam departed from Texas, They were given the title as the “OutKast of Texas”. Shortly afterwards, ShoDaz began to air Tho 'wd Town Radio every Thursday on WHPR 88.1 in Highland Park, Detroit, MI while working at Big Block Records on Fenkell & Livernois.
After working as an in-house producer for Atlantic, Nam launched of the website of GrindHouse Records and the introductory of W2TT: The Animated Series. By the time they linked up in Miami, they set up shop and started the “Diamonds And Dolla$ Everyday” campaign. As an introduction of entering DADE, they put together the album. This lead up to them doing theme songs for the Miami Heat, VOSS & Club Madonna. The movie, Miami Fresh, displays what they did while being there. In South Beach, they met the legend Big Mike, 40/40 Club, Dlah (of Wu-Tang’s Future Chamber) & C-Watch International.
With the legacy they made, W2TT signed to Lifeless Immortal.
