Born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan, Wellsy, real name Brendan Wells, found his passion for music as a teenager alongside the growing popularity of EDM in the United States throughout the early 2000's. By the age of 16 Brendan had saved up enough money to purchase his first turntable, and eagerly began to hone his craft from his bedroom before taking his talents to the stages of hometown shows, silent discos, and clubs in Chicago. This love for performance blossomed into a love for creating his own productions, ranging from future bass, house, and the occasional hip hop/pop production for fellow artists and friends. To Brendan, music is a passion project. From producing various genres, to songwriting, to even singing on some of his own tracks, his love for music knows no bounds. As long as fun remains at the heart of it, Brendan's creativity refuses to be kept in a box. Life is ever changing, we are constantly growing and improving, and it is this versatility that defines Brendan's music and artistry.
