The Pianist/Mathematician Wendell H. Mills II performed solo piano in renowned restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels throughout his life. In 2001, he and an author friend in New York City decided to write a Broadway musical together, and during the next four years the resulting team (known as Mills and McCann) wrote 16 songs together as part of that musical.
During this songwriting endeavor, Wendell became enthralled with the musical quality of the American song standards produced by the great composers of stage and screen, and subsequently has produced numerous Solo Piano albums of their best songs all available on Amazon and his web site wendellmillspiano.com.
Today Wendell H. Mills II lives in the Austin, Texas sunbelt (the live music capital of the world). He performs personalized renditions of great song standards at various private functions and Assisted Living facilities. He is also continuing his Solo Piano Stylings Album series, recording new Solo Piano Top Ten albums of the best songs of a long list of popular composers.
