Martina Mammano, known artistically as Wendy, is a young singer-songwriter and composer from a small town by the sea in Italy. An old soul with a deep love for the UK and London, her musical journey took a transformative turn when she lived in Canterbury for 10 months as an exchange student at just 17. Surrounded by supportive friends from the music world, Wendy faced anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, but the people around her inspired her to find her voice and marked a pivotal moment in her life.
Influenced by artists like James Arthur, Birdy, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Tate McRae Wendy creates emotive melodies with soaring vocals and intimate lyrics. Recently, she had the honor of opening for the iconic band Nomadi, reflecting her growing presence in the music scene.
Wendy is currently working on blending spirituality and music into a unique project, staying true to her style. Her songs are a reflection of her fiato—her essence and soul. Music is her way of releasing emotions and exploring new concepts that she believes can help others.
Her dream is to uplift others and share her journey to becoming a fulfilled and happy person.
