West Coast Wolves

Starting out with just a banjo and a goat skinned djembe drum, the Wolves have been building a buzz since they started releasing the songs off 'Don’t Forget to Howl', a record they describe as "Searching, fun & heavy at times.... At the heart of it, music gives us goosebumps. It makes our hair stand on end. We are chasing the rush that comes with playing together as a unit, and bumbling along into something great. When, after much experimenting, suddenly, we realize that we're all locked into ‘the flow-state’. This is when the gears just seem to fit perfectly without any real effort. And we can all feel we’ve just made something original and special. You can look around while its happening and you can feel it, it's like an electrical current is flowing through the band room connecting and channelling . It’s special because we write stuff together that none of us could ever write alone, and we’ve become very conscious of that the more we play, the more we write, the more we create".
