West End Ri

West End Ri is a Muslim rapper, former lawyer and entrepreneur currently taking on the legal cannabis industry.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, he is now based in Miami and is also the son of civil rights icon H. Rap Brown, also known as Imam Jamil Al-Amin and superstar Attorney and activist Karima Al-Amin. With such an impressive background, it's no surprise that his story is a fascinating one, which he shares through his music.


As a black Muslim in America, West End Ri faces the constant challenge of balancing his faith with the world around him. His
unique style and talent for wordplay and scheme pays homage to rap roots while also proving that lyricism is not dead, it’s just evolving. His artistry reflects a polish seldom seen in emerging artists, and he is a gifted storyteller who makes it easy to get lost in his records.


Some of his biggest musical influences include Andre 3000, Yasiin Bey, J. Cole, 6lack, and Kendrick Lamar.


West End Ri has already started seeing some success with his music, having completed the release of “Flawed Muslim”, his most recent album.


The album has since garnered almost a quarter of a million streams on Spotify to date and was also recently reviewed by former Sony A&R Anya Jones, who praised his unique lyrical flow as his entire catalogue slowly creeps toward that million stream mark.
