West Kavi

Carl Wesley a.k.a West kavi was born in Long Beach, California on February 10, 1983. He grew up around hip hop, blues, R&B, and gansta rap. West kavi grew up around music all his life. His grandfather use to get together with his brothers to play dominos and sing oldies and drink. Later down the line his cousin Kewan Spillmon a.k.a Goldie locc from the EASTSIDAZ taught him about doing music. Down the line West kavi use to ride his bike to King’s park where Snoop dogg, Warren g, Nate dog, Big G style, Lil C style, and Lil badazz use to hang out and freestyle all day and night. This was the moment that West kavi truly developed a passion for hip hop, R&B, and Gansta rap. West kavi started rapping at the age of 9 years old and started writing at the age of 16. West Kavi now produces, write, mix and master his own music. He has done music with Kokane, jay o felony, turf talk, Goldie locc, 2much, Chog G, Sevin, The L.E.R.S, Kay nine from Compton, Young giantz, Playa hamm, Dre boogie, Faided on the beat, and 40 glocc.West kavi wrote a song for 40 Glocc called Welcome 2 California remix Feat. Snoop dogg, E40, Too short, and Xzibit in 2012. This song hit a million views on YouTube and world star hip hop. It was rated number 1 on sucker free Sunday on mtv. West kavi was featured in XXL magazine in January 2012 from the label that he was a member of Gorilla hustle Ent. West kavi is a hard worker when it comes to music. He came a long way from where he was.
