Energy. Honesty. Originality. West Wind Drive, formerly known as Frontier, is a harmony-driven rock band from Kentucky whose unique sound defies the trends of today’s music. With meaningful lyrics, signature blood-harmonies, and inventive pop-rock music, West Wind Drive makes no attempt to blend in. Influences such as John Mayer, The Police, and Eric Clapton bleed together into the band’s addictive sound and style. Their music is filled with meaningful messages and catchy beats that hook listeners and keep them coming back for more.
West Wind Drive began when brothers Ethan and Andrew Worley and their cousin Caleb Caudill began writing songs and performing as an acoustic trio, traveling throughout Kentucky and surrounding states performing in concert series, festivals, and other special events. Audiences were impressed with their skill as musicians and songwriters and were captivated by their unforgettable vocal harmonies. In 2015, they added the energy of a full band sound and began performing with a drummer. The talented and fiery drummer, Jon Watts, currently performs with West Wind Drive and brings his own unique flair to their music. West Wind Drive has released two albums, Longer Roads and This Dream under the name Frontier. Although their name has changed, the musicians and the music you can’t forget still remain the same.
