An amalgamation of quirky chords, hard feelings, and an old soul kind of mood, Wet Knees is the kind of pop band that’ll make you feel some type of way. Coming straight out of Prague, Czechia, the band originated with Zack Slouka (guitar) and <a href="spotify:artist:09f5e2Fzzk62XcbGNFS3rq" data-name="Marina Laduda">Marina Laduda</a> (voice) back in 2018. The duo wrote songs together, occasionally playing in local bars and music clubs.
By 2020 the band developed its signature sound together with Tomas Hatala on saxophone, Jonathan Barron on drums, and Emil Novotny on bass guitar. Together, Wet Knees plans to release its first EP in 2020.
