Wet Library are an indietronica music duo formed in 2021 in Lancaster/Derby/Warrington (it's complicated). They are formed of James Tomlinson (on tunes, mostly) and Luca Vincent (on vocals, mostly).
Their process usually involves Tomlinson creating a banger-worthy piece of music on his laptop or computer and then Vincent turning said music into a banger through the medium of words - written and sung by himself.
In February of 2021, they released their debut single 'Electric Life' on the music platforms SoundCloud and Bandcamp. A track that would soon receive critical acclaim from some guy's dad. This was followed by 'Being Alive' in April of the same year. This was followed by 'Colliding' in May of the same year. This was followed by 'A Very Wet Library Christmas' in December of the same year.
The duo then decided that now was about time to venture onto the little-known platform that can only be described as 'Spotify' with their track 'Being Alive'. A track about some of the better parts of Tomlinson's life with a general message of 'Don't just survive; spend your life being alive'. Then they removed it and uploaded 'Electric Life'.
There are murmurings that Wet Library released an album of sorts sometime in the past. And those murmurings would be, well, correct because ..they did. It's called Everything Cuts. Why not give it a go?
I've been Jemima Flark and you've been reading the Wet Library Spotify bio. Thank you and goodnight.
