Wheeler del Torro is a producer, musician and musical host (MH). Originally from Cuba, Wheeler has been working in the industry for the past 15 years promoting and MHing at parties and cultural events in New York, Philly, Paris, Ibiza and beyond. He is often referred to a music prodigy.
Wheeler is the founder of the Maroon, a pop-up event he created while living in Paris. Maroon is an underground celebration that pays homage to David Mancuso’s The Loft. Its mission is simple: to create a safe space where people from all walks of life - economic, social, racial, gender, and sexual orientation - can come together and enjoy life. Maroon has taken on many forms over the years but the recipe for the event is always the same: thought-provoking music and great food.
2020 saw the launch of his own label, Dog Day Recordings, which is an outlet for quality soulful and Afro talent from around the globe.
