When We Buried The Ringmaster is a modern metal band from Vaasa, Finland.
As a band When We Buried The Ringmaster focuses on writing crushing riffs and gripping rhythms juxtaposed with haunting melodies that leave you feeling profoundly melancholic. The lyrics often revolve around relatable issues such as relationship problems, existential crisis and other personal issues which are conveyed through the extensive use of symbolism and allegories.
The band was formed in 2008 and released their first EP, Coulrophobia, in 2011. The EP was released in limited quantity and over the years gained a small cult following.
When We Buried The Ringmaster is a five-piece band that consists of Juuso Heinonen as the vocalist, Mika ”Hybrid” Nygård as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, Markus Panttila as the lead guitar player, Jere Heinonen as the drummer and Pasi Isomäki as the bassist.
The band members have been hard at work writing new music, and as a result, When We Buried The Ringmaster released their debut album in the fall of 2021.
