Where Speech Ends' music is inspired by Norwegian folk music, deep forests, goblins, trolls, progressive rock and a little bit of circus. We like to balance on a knife's edge between the heavy and the calm, and the strange and the beautiful. Our music tells stories about the world of fairytales seeping into our own.
Where Speech Ends was formed many moons ago, in 2014 to be precise, on the edge of the forests of Agder in the south of Norway. The band now consists of Maria Aker Jakobsen on vocals and keyboards, Elisabeth Aurebekk who plays the flute and sings, Kent A. Helset on the drums, Mattias Jahr on guitars and occational vocals, and Christian Goul on the bass.
