Born in the Pandemic out of friends desiring live music on their driveway, Whiskey Flower started off playing socially-distanced gatherings in Southern CA.
The two members, bass player and background vocalist Holly Lucille (Time Magazine’s Alt 100 List) and lead vocalist and rhythm guitar player Julie Neumark (Dimestore Halo, Hyena Records) are both bandmates and life mates (yep, married for 14 years).
The duo loves to infuse their original takes on old, familiar hit songs as well as play their growing repertoire of originals. They describe themselves as a “classic rocktail—shaken, not stirred—with a shot of select modern hits.”
