Whisperdesire first emerged from Jakarta’s vibrant musical landscape in 2004. The band quickly gained recognition for their distinctive musical style, characterized by a combination of dynamic instrumentation and a harmonious blend of joy and melancholy.

After disbanding in 2008, members of Whisperdesire took different paths, but their love for music endured. Now, the band is ready to release new music, fulfilling a plan conceived before their hiatus. Though not all original members are reuniting, three (Bindra, Inu, and Freddy) have regrouped and enlisted a steadfast friend (George) for support. With this new lineup, Whisperdesire is creating new material together.

In addition to their upcoming release, Whisperdesire has already treated their listeners to a nostalgic yet reinvigorated musical experience with the recent launch of their single, "PESAN". Originally released before their hiatus, the track has been reimagined, serving as a heartfelt gesture to reconnect with old listeners and showcase the band's evolution. With a contemporary twist and a penchant for shoegaze-y sound, "PESAN" bridges the band's past and future, giving a glimpse into Whisperdesire's dynamic musical identity.

Whisperdesire may not be the same as it was in 2008, but their core essence remains unchanged. Once again, Whisperdesire invites listeners to join them on a journey of rediscovery, reflection, and the timeless search for the meaning of life through music.
