Guitar-great <a href="spotify:artist:6bV5tUO90I3oRIy3Gy1UOG">Clarence White</a> (b 1944 - d 1973) and mandolinist <a href="spotify:artist:0kN5Am5GfKiioSI8Zwn23o">Roland White</a> played in <a href="spotify:artist:4mE9J86AGGldqLRa4ymTgb">the Country Boys</a> band when <a href="spotify:artist:6bV5tUO90I3oRIy3Gy1UOG">Clarence</a> was only 10 and Roland 16. In 1962 they became part of <a href="spotify:artist:5aV6tDnBgmezgCSTvL5HnV">the Kentucky Colonels</a>, a bluegrass band famous especially among a younger and city audience. <a href="spotify:artist:6bV5tUO90I3oRIy3Gy1UOG">Clarence White</a> went on to become a much-in-demand session man, until killed by a drunken driver in 1973. <a href="spotify:artist:0kN5Am5GfKiioSI8Zwn23o">Roland White</a> over the years has continued performing, including with <a href="spotify:artist:60PxSDzeNfdNALOPi5oe7b">the Nashville Bluegrass Band</a>. ~ David Vinopal, Rovi
