Ok, listener, you made it to my Spotify profile. You want that bio. You’ve got questions. E.g., with what acts of import am I associated, what achievements have I achievéd, have I ever worked with the keyboardist from <a href="spotify:artist:6IRouO5mvvfcyxtPDKMYFN" data-name="Foreigner">Foreigner</a>? The answers are rather unremarkable. So maybe we leave the past in the past, let this be Year One, Horizon Zero, Genesis II. Let’s pretend that my college rock band didn’t open up for <a href="spotify:artist:2iEvnFsWxR0Syqu2JNopAd" data-name="Smash Mouth">Smash Mouth</a>. My hope is that someday we ALL have Spotify pages, that our biographies will be full of hyperlinks to impressive destinations, and our streaming numbers will be in the millions (with 40k tracks being added daily this could happen soon). Until then, we can only dream.

Some career highlights: Once stood awkwardly in TV chef/personality Rachael Ray’s apartment after watching a curious set by husband&#39;s band, <a href="spotify:artist:4Q3k6LYgnaqKAjQPoGbZ5w" data-name="The Cringe">The Cringe</a>. Lovely people; Tried to fit into diaper during recording session produced by college alt-rock progenitor, <a href="spotify:artist:5V8GA6aqsyZizChn4Zj6st" data-name="David Lowery">David Lowery</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:1JXB7XQ9hjLB5pnr1eowKR" data-name="Camper Van Beethoven">Camper Van Beethoven</a>/<a href="spotify:artist:0ODQJS4mk7rVBJXjdqByX6" data-name="Cracker">Cracker</a>); Kicked off of Florida dates by rock duo, <a href="spotify:artist:415JrPfN7ukaTu8JV8BLE8" data-name="Local H">Local H</a>, after one show, no reason given; On MTV News for 9 seconds, cashier at local pizza place impressed; Wrote music in ads for glow-in-the-dark chalk, corn chip dip, electric car, and app that lets you control your TV from iPad; Had an Italian dinner at a table near <a href="spotify:artist:1rAv1GhTQ2rmG94p9lU3rB" data-name="Julian Casablancas">Julian Casablancas</a>, of <a href="spotify:artist:0epOFNiUfyON9EYx7Tpr6V" data-name="The Strokes">The Strokes</a> fame, somewhere in Silver Lake.
