White Widow

Carla Patullo is a composer and musician, who also records and performs as WHITE WIDOW. She has created rich and diverse soundscapes for film and television productions such as MY NAME IS MARIA DE JESUS (HBO), PORNO (SXSW), SPA NIGHT (Sundance, Netflix), the award-winning film JEANNE CORDOVA (Outfest), PIZZA FACE (San Diego Comic-Con), and LOTTE THAT SILHOUETTE GIRL (2018 IDA Shortlist).

In addition to composing, Carla is a prolific songwriter and has had over 100 song placements on Emmy and BAFTA award-winning shows, such as THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW (NBC), THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (CBS), SKINS (E4), Teen Titans Go! (Cartoon Network), and in dance performances by Maddie Ziegler on the reality show DANCE MOMS (Lifetime). Her vocals can be heard on the Microsoft video game PROJECT SPARK and the PBS show CRAFT IN AMERICA.

Carla has toured internationally as a solo performer and with her band. She was also the musical director for actress/comedian Sandra Bernhard’s I LOVE BEING ME, DON’T YOU album tour, which included performances with Liza Minnelli, Rufus Wainwright, Leisha Hailey, and Justin Vivian Bond. Sandra described Carla on her album as “so fucking raw and groovy that it scares the shit out of me!”
