Formed in Reading (UK) in 2015 from the embers of a punk/pop band, Who Killed Nancy Johnson? initially comprised Paul Anthony on bass, Nick Holland on guitar, Nathan Haynes on drums and new recruit Stefan Ball on vocals. The new name reflected the development of a more edgy and aggressive punk/post-punk sound, which was cemented in 2016 when Pete Moulton took over on guitar and Mark Wren on drums. This line-up gigged in the UK and Italy, releasing a first EP, Cops and Robbers, in January 2017. 2018 saw the recruitment of Julien Bruinaud on bass, the release of the Flat Earth Theory EP and a CD-only compilation album, Eponymous, and a French tour. The They Reap Sessions EP came out in February 2019 about the same time that Dawid Bychowski took over on bass. Other 2019 releases were a split vinyl-only 12" EP (April) and the mini-EP Punish the Poor/Clown (December) - the band's first DIY recording, and the first to get really close to the power of the live performances. A full-length album, I See Six, was released June 2020. Now with Sarah Moulton on bass, the band plan new releases in 2022.
