Meet Rahul Mekala, the protean, eclectic force shaping the music scene. Known by the moniker WhyM3, he's a DJ, producer, audio engineer, and artist with firm roots in the vibrant city of Pearls, Hyderabad, India. WhyM3's musical odyssey began at the tender age of 13, when he was captivated by the spellbinding art of DJing. At 15, this novice prodigy stumbled upon a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), a tool that opened doors to a realm of music creation he had never fathomed.

WhyM3's sonic palette stretches across a wide gamut, encircling the fusion of genres such as hip-hop, trap, pop, EDM, and alternative punk/rock, all of which challenge traditional norms. He harnesses his inspiration from luminaries like Nicky Romero, Skrillex, Daft Punk, and hip-hop maestros such as Metro Boomin, 808 Mafia, and Nick Mira. In 2020, WhyM3 launched a quest for musical exploration and the tracks he has created beneath his productions have accumulated more than 300,000 streams, a testament to his knack for crafting gripping tunes.

WhyM3 is all set to create a new paradigm with an upcoming EP that dives deep into the realms of EDM pop and alternative hip-hop. But that's not all—he's also forging new paths in uncharted territory as a rapper with his latest debut single, "FROZE." The rookie star also earned a coveted feature spot on Rolling Stone, with several tracks breaking into the top 100, and has set tongues wagging on the Apple Music India charts.
