Wicked Wendy is a four-piece melodic metal band from Skåne, Sweden. Their sound has a strong melodic core, with elements of thrash, punk and progressive metal. Someone has described the music as being clearly influenced by Gothenburg metal from the early 00´s. But instead of the growl most often associated with that genre, this female-fronted band presents powerful, bluesy-oriented and sometimes raspy “clean” vocals, in the form of Josefin Ejdesjö.
