Wiky Neva
Mpenda Kheswa, popularly known as Wiky Ebabang (Wiky Neva), is a Sesotho hip-hop rap artist, songwriter, and record producer.
The budding talent has a distinct style of South African hip hop, fusing traditional sounds with contemporary influences. With a musical career that dates back to 2013, this Free State-born superstar has been steadily rising and solidifying his place in the music industry.
His well-refined Genetic sound is a hybrid trap - traditional marimba, accordion music, oil-can drums, and female ululation from Free State – spitting bars in his local tongue. Wiky’s debut track, “ tjhetja” was released in 2017, and was influenced by artists such as Nas and American Tory Lanez.
Wiky's career, on the other hand, took off with his debut album, “ Nqoqeleng Ep.” Thope ”Mjolo Lo with Dr Scolly” and many more are among his successful singles. He’s also performed alongside Mr Brown, Prince Benza, CK DE DJ and a slew of other artists.
