Originally a guitarist, De Roon has been singing in several bands since the age of 18. With Footloose he performed during the Nijmegen Summer Festival . His band Groot Hart did some national radio and television performances.
He played at the Jaarbeurs and the singer with "the rough edge" recorded a single and was a guest at one of the biggest national Radio channels: Radio 538.
Recently, he made a bold move and signed up for "The Voice of Holland. He ended up on Jan Smit's team.
