Wild Dove

Wild Dove is the project of Canadian songwriter Devan Christodoulou. With his first EP, Bound for Glory (2020), we are introduced to a songwriter with a fine-tuned ear for catchy, uplifting melodies and life-affirming narratives. At their core, the songs on the EP are a blend of modern pop and Canadiana rock. They are presented through sweeping, gospel-gilded productions that invoke a peculiar optimism, reminiscent of the feelings one has when spring finally arrives. "Prove It," a song on the EP about embracing one's individuality, was featured in the Emmy-award-winning Netflix original Love is Blind.

After the release of Bound for Glory, Wild Dove recorded and released two follow-up singles, "Down," an empowering pop ballad aimed at breaking down the mental health stigma, and "Baby Boy," a catchy, Canadiana pop-rock song dedicated to his son.

In April 2022, Wild Dove released "Come Back to Life," a song that blends modern techniques with the nostalgic sound of '80s pop-rock. Co-produced by Andy Schichter (Sleepy Gonzales, Trust this Mechanism, Porteau), the song is a reminder to anyone overworked and exhausted to take the time to care for themselves—to come back to and enjoy the beautiful world around them.
